Dr. David N. Glaser M.D. – Medical Director
Dr. David N. Glaser is a Psychiatrist in private practice since 1979 (California Medical License #G40041.) Dr. Glaser is a member of both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Board of Forensic Examiners. Additionally, Dr. Glaser is one of only a few thousand doctors nationally who is Board Certified in Forensic Psychiatry.
Certified as a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) as well as serving as an Agreed Medical Examiner (AME) and Independent Medical Examiner (IME), Dr. Glaser’s expertise has been sought by attorneys, judges and insurance carriers.
His courtroom experience as an Expert Witness varies from Capital cases in the Criminal Courts to Civil Litigation and WCAB cases.
Dr. Glaser has given numerous presentations on a variety of psychiatric topics to the medical, legal, corporate and insurance segments of the workers’ compensation community. Dr. Glaser serves as a Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California, as a member of the Advisory Board for the American College of Forensic Psychiatry, and is a Faculty Member of the UCLA Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program.

David B. Freeman, Ph.D. – Clinical Director
David B. Freeman, Ph.D., is a Board Certified, UCLA trained Neuropsychologist and a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME). Dr. Freeman has conducted over 1000 AME/QME medical-legal psychiatric examinations and neuropsychological assessments.
In addition to his training at UCLA, Dr. Freeman was the staff Neuropsychologist in the Acute Rehabilitation Department at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He was the co-director of the Cedars' Sinai Outpatient Brain Injury program and served on both the Stroke and Orthopedic units. He has also served as the Director of Neuropsychology in the Acute Rehabilitation Department at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. Dr. Freeman is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA. Dr. Freeman also has considerable expertise in the neurocognitive assessment of Traumatic Brain Injury, Malingering and Toxic Exposure; as well as Dementia and Competency in older adults & Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Michael C.C. Lilienfeld – Executive Director
Michael Lilienfeld is co-founder of Cal Psych FMT. He has an extensive mental health background as a psychotherapist and educator. In 1978 he founded Live and Learn, a non-profit educational foundation and served as its Director for seven years. An acclaimed public speaker and leader of seminars, Michael transitioned from private practice to organizational and creative consulting, with clients including the Los Angeles Unified School District and L.A. City Fire Department. His consulting firm, Strategies Plus, led him to working closely with both legal and medical professionals, thus setting the stage for his development of Independent Health Consultants, which began in 1989, providing expert services to the Workers’ Compensation and medical-legal communities. As Executive Director of Cal Psych FMT, Michael brings his vast technical and organizational experience to the role of liaison between doctors, attorneys and insurance companies, while overseeing all facets of the practice.

Barbara Jean Justice, M.D.
Dr. Barbara Justice (California Medical License #G87479) is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with additional specialization in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Justice is a former Fellow of the UCLA Forensic Psychiatry Program. She also has a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of New York.
Prior to her work as a QME and expert in Forensic Psychiatry, Dr. Justice spent 23 years practicing in Surgery and General Medicine in New York. She has been an attending physician in Emergency Medicine, Surgery, and Addiction and Rehabilitation. She is an international lecturer and an active member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. Her extensive background in surgery and trauma allow Dr. Justice a unique insight into the medical aspects of Psychiatry, especially in cases where there has been a physical condition or injury involved.

Roger Light, Ph.D.
Dr. Roger Light is a QME and a UCLA trained, Board Certified Neuropsychologist. He is the Senior Neuropsychologist at Daniel Freeman Medical Center, where he has been on staff for 18 years. Dr. Light specializes in children, adolescents and adults who have sustained brain damage or other nervous system impairment. He has published extensively in the area of pediatric brain injury, and is a member of many professional organizations. Dr. Light is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA and an experienced expert witness in the area of head injury.
